Who it’s for
Who is this for?
People in personal transitions: separation, loss, illness, existential questions
Leaders and professionals facing exhaustion, overload, or a loss of meaning
Couples or individuals caught in repeating or stuck patterns
Mature personalities willing to look honestly: without formulas, but with openness to what truly works
It’s not about fixing problems. It’s about finding ground again, step by step. So you can hold yourself again.
Present. Reliable.
In times of crisis, it’s sometimes not about finding a solution, but about having something to hold on to. I accompany you when everything feels unsteady; with calm, presence, and a safe space. At your pace, and in the way that feels right just now.
Space for everything: pain, fear, emptiness, hope.
Finding steadiness again, feeling your breath, gaining orientation.
Step by step, returning to strength and trust.
No pressure, no “fixing,” but presence and walking alongside you.
How I accompany you
Present, mindful, human.
Trauma-sensitive and existentially grounded.
As much structure as it takes to provide footing.
As much space as you need.
I bring experience, diverse training, and depth. Above all, genuine presence.

Questions
Experience, qualifications, attitude
Experience
I know what it feels like to be an outsider: not to belong, to be different, to adapt in order to be accepted. I know how it is when closeness is missing, when people are inwardly unreachable, or when you carry responsibility too early that was never really yours.
My path has not been easy and was often unclear. I’ve learned to live with ruptures, rejection, and speechlessness—and still to keep looking for connection. I know the struggle for orientation, enduring pain, the longing for a place where you can simply be.
Today, I bring all of this into my work: the ability to stay when it hurts. The courage to look. And the certainty that even in difficult times, footing and new strength can grow again, step by step.
Qualifications
My work combines methods that engage body, mind, and emotions equally, because crises rarely begin or get resolved only “in the head.”
More information on my training and qualifications on my profile website patrickschmid.info.

- Existential coaching—to give space to what is essential, even when it’s uncomfortable
- Systemic-integral development work—to recognize connections and regain orientation
Attitude
Crises don’t need a plan. They need a safe space. I work the way I would have needed it myself in difficult times:
- Integrity & confidentiality—you can rely on this space being protected.
- Space instead of recipes—I stay with you, even in uncertainty, pain, or not-knowing.
- Presence & embodiment—I work with what can be felt, not only with words.
- Respectful confrontation—when it helps, I name patterns clearly, without judgment.
- You in the driver’s seat—You decide what gets space. I hold, mirror, and accompany. No pushing, no pressure to meet expectations.
- Depth over speed—Crises don’t need quick steps; even small movements can change a lot.
